THE SHORT VERSION
I'm a photographer, producer and educator, originally from Switzerland, now based in Australia and working world wide. My clients range from private customers, models and agencies to magazines, newspapers and fashion labels. In a past life I made a living as singer and actor (in musicals, bands, and tv), however over the years my love for photography won the battle between "in front - or - behind the camera".
Beside my work as a photographer, I teach photography workshops, have been named an Arcanum "master of photography", written articles for a variety of publications, host the photography show SBweekly.tv, as well as "10 From The Couch" and produced videos such as "Models are Made".

Photography is much more than just my job for me, it is my passion. I love capturing the “spark” in peoples eyes, their beauty, thought and emotion. I enjoy working with creative individuals, people with ideas, I love photographing children because of their brutal honesty and playful minds. I’m fascinated by engaging concepts, inspired by the fashion world, the pop culture and modern design, and I admire the work of many photographers as well as the paintings of the old masters.

"The secret sauce” is an outdated and old fashioned thinking. In our day and age, we all should openly share what we know. I try my best to help others achieve their goals with online tutorials, image reviews, teaching workshops and mentoring students world wide.

My work has been seen in magazines, art galleries, books, CD- and DVD covers. I enjoy working with many incredible international clients like Calleija Jewellers, Dr. Libby, Brandpoint (Gucci, Calvin Klein, Jessica Mauboy, Mustang, Cristiano Ronaldo, Jaguar, NY Apple etc), Food Circus, The Australian University Sport, to name a few. I've also had the great privilege to photograph some of the best in their fields, from sporting superstars like Roger Federer, the Australian Wallabies and the New Zealand All Blacks, to musicians like Seal and Janet Jackson.
One of my all-time favourites, a personal portraits of his holiness the Dalai Lama, has been published on book- and DVD cover’s around the world.
NETWORKING & JUDGING
I am a member of the International Academy of Visual Arts, as well as NPS Nikon Professional Servicesas and the Australian Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance. I’m a judge for 3 international awards: The Communicator Awards (Honouring Creative Excellence For Communications Professionals), The Davey Awards (honouring outstanding creative from the best small agencies & companies worldwide), and The W3 Awards (honoring superior creativity on the web).
